AHA Reference Center:

The Postgraduate Training Center was selected as one of four other hospitals in the Middle East and North Africa, to be a REFERENCE Center for The American Heart Association (AHA). Providing support and training to all centers applying for the AHA accreditation process, in addition to building their capacity to function as independent centers. The built expertise and number of senior faculty in the center, in addition to the excellent coordination system all supported the selection.

Highest Trainees™ Number Record from American Heart Association (AHA®)

The American Heart Association (AHA®), at its recent activity held in Dubai, March 2012, cited the NGHA, as AHA International Training Center, to receive the Middle East and North Africa Award for the Highest Trainees™ Number Record.

On 25th April 2012, AHA® representatives visited the NGHA and awarded the plaque of recognition personally to His Excellency, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and Chief Executive Officer of National Guard Health Affairs, in the presence of the Dean of Deanship of Postgraduate Education, representatives from the Directorate of Postgraduate Training Center and Faculties of the NGHA-ILSTC.See related news release on http://www.alriyadh.com/2012/05/08/article734176.html
